BY-LAW NO. 4242/93
Being a by-law to repeal section 2 of By-law 2091
insofar as it affects Lots 6, 13, 14, 15, 29, 30 and 38,
Plan 270, Picketing.
WHEREAS, on May 9, 1955, pursuant to a predecessor of subsection 50(4) of Planning Act, R.S.O.
1990, chapter P.13, as amended, the Council of The Corporation of the Township of Picketing enacted
By-law 2091, section 2 of which deems certain lands, including Lots 1 to 48, Plan 270, Picketing, not to
be a registered plan of subdivision for the purposes of what is now subsection 50(3) of the Act; and
WHEREAS section 28 of the Interpretation Act, R.S.O. 1990, chapter 1.11, provides in part that, in
every enactment, where power is conferred to make by-laws it includes power to alter or revoke same
from time to time;
NOW THEREFORE, the Council of The Corporation of the Town of Picketing HEREBY ENACTS AS
FOLLOWS:
1. Section 2 of By-law 2091, enacted by the Council of The Corporation of the Township of
Picketing on May 9, 1955, is hereby repealed only insofar as it affects the following lands:
Lots 6, 13, 14, 15, 29, 30 and 38, Plan 270, Picketing.
BY-LAW read a first, second and third time and finally passed this 21st day of June, 1993.
