BY-LAW NUMBER 4156/93
Being a by-law to fix the salaries of the
Commissioners of the Ptckering Hydro-Electric
Commission for the period commencing December 1,
1992 and expiring on November 30, 1993.
WHEREAS pursuant to the provisions of section 44(1) of the Public
Utilities Act, R.S.O. 1990, c. P.52, the salary of such commissioners
shall from time to time be fixed by the Council of the Corporation of
the Town of Picketing;
NOW THEREFORE the Council of the Corporation of the Town of Pickering
HEREBY ENACTS as follows:
1. The salaries of the members of the Picketing Hydro-Electric
Commission for the period from December 1, 1991 to November 30,
1992, be set as follows:
a) Chairman ...................... $3,600.00 per annum
b) Commissioner .................. $3,100.00 per annum
2. That a per diem salary apply to special meetings, seminars and
conferences other than the regularly scheduled monthly
Commission Meetings as follows:
$50.00 per day for each day or part thereof for
which a member attends additional meetings.
3. For the purposes of section 2, the term "special meetings"
shall mean,
a) convention and seminars,
b) any meeting of a designated committee or subcommittee of
the Commission, and
c) any meeting of the Commission occurring outside the Town
of Pickering, other than a regularly scheduled meeting of
the Commission.
BY-LAW READ a first, second and third time and finally PASSED
this 1st day of February , 1993.
