HomeMy WebLinkAboutBy-law 4603/95 THE CORPORATION OF THE TOWN OF PICKERING BY-LAW NUMBER 4603 Being a By-law to amend Restricted Area (Zoning) By-law 2511, as amended by By-law 3179, to implement the Official Plan of the Town of Pickering District Planning Area, Region of Durham, in Lot 18, Plan M-89, in the Town of Picketing. (A 32/93) WHEREAS the Council of the Corporation of the Town of Pickering deems it desirable to permit the establishment of a detached residential dwelling use, in addition to currently permitted park, recreational and water-oriented uses on the subject lands, being Lot 18, Plan M-89, in the Town of Picketing; AND WHEREAS an amendment to By-law 2511, as amended by By-law 3179 is therefore deemed necessary; NOW THEREFORE THE COUNCIL OF THE CORPORATION OF THE TOWN OF PICKERING HEREBY ENACTS AS FOLLOWS: 1. (I) Section 20A of By-law 2511 is hereby further amended by adding thereto thc following subsection: 20A.6 Despite any other provisions of this by-law, one residential detached dwelling is permitted on lands known as Lot 18, Plan M-89, in the Town of Picketing, subject to the following provisions: a) Lot Area (minimum): 460 square metres b) Lot Frontage (minimum): 15 metres c) Front Yard Depth (minimum): 6 metres d) Side Yard Width (minimum): (i) west side yard 7.5 metres (ii) east side yard 1.5 metres e) Rear Yard Depth (minimum): 4.5 metres f) Lot Coverage (maximum): 38 percent g) Building Height (maximum): 9 metres h) Parking Requirements: minimum one private garage attached to the main building 2. SCHEDULE "A" AMENDMENT Schedule "A" to by-law 2511, as amended, is hereby further amended by removing the "(H)" holding symbol preceding the zone category "O3B" thereon on lands known as Lot 18, Plan M-89. 3. This by-law shall take effect from the day of passing hereof subject to the approval of the Ontario Municipal board, if required. READ A FIRST AND SECOND TIME THIS 18th DAY OF April ,1995.
