BY-LAW NUMBER 4807/96
Being a Zoning By-law to amend Zoning By-law 2511, as amended, to
implement the Official Plan of the Town of Picketing District Planning
Area, Region of Durham, in Lot 24 and Part of Lots 21, 23, 27 & 28,
Plan M-1040, Town of Pickering. (A 3/96)
WHEREAS the Cotmcil of the Corporation of the Town of Picketing deems it desirable to
permit, in Lot 24 and Part of Lots 21, 23, 27 & 28, Plan M-1040, a limited amount of accessory
retail sales for permitted uses, up to a specified maximum floor area;
AND WHEREAS an amendment to By-law 2511, as amended, is therefore deemed necessary;
NOW THEREFORE THE COUNCIL OF THE CORPORATION OF THE TOWN OF
PICKERING HEREBY ENACTS AS FOLLOWS:

1. Section 18 of By-law 2511, as amended, is hereby further amended by adding the
following subsection:
18.3.4.1 Despite section 18.1.2, in addition to all other permitted uses in Lot 24 and
Part of Lots 21, 23, 27 & 28, Plan M-1040, accessory retail use is
permitted to a maximum of 20% of the gross leasable floor area of a
permitted use, or to a maximum 93 square metres of floor area, whichever
is less.

Schedule I to this By-law is declared to be part of this By-law, and the provisions of this
By-law shall apply to the lands designated "(H)M2S-R" on Schedule I attached.

By-law 2511, as amended, is hereby further amended only to the extent necessary to give
effect to the provisions of this By-law. Definitions and subject matter not specifically dealt
with in this By-law shall be governed by the relevant provisions of By-law 2511, as
amended.

This By-law shall take effect fi.om the day of passing, subject to the approval of the
Ontario Municipal Board, if required.
