BY-LAW NO. 4720/96
Being a by-law to authorize the execution of an
Agreement as to Compensation and Possession for Land
Required by the Minister of Transportation respecting
those lands expropriated by Her Majesty the Queen in
Right of the Province of Ontario, as represented by the
Ministry of Transportation, described as Parts of Lots 1,
2 and 18, Plan 350, Pickering (Part 1, Plan D443329 and
Part 1, Plan D443340).
WHEREAS, pursuant to the provisions of section 191(1) of the Municipal Act, R.S.O. 1990, Chap.
M.45, the Council of The Corporation of the Town of Pickering may pass by-laws for disposing of land
not required for the purposes of the Corporation; and
WHEREAS it is a formal requirement of expropriations that an agreement be entered into in order for
the expropriating authority to release compensation to the registered owner;
NOW THEREFORE, the Council of the Cbrporation of the Town of Pickering HEREBY ENACTS AS
FOLLOWS:
1. The Council of The Corporation of the Town of Picketing is hereby authorized to execute an
Agreement as to Compensation and Possession for Land Required by the Minister of
Transportation respecting Parts of Lots 1, 2 and 18, Plan 350, Picketing (Part 1, Plan D443329
and Part 1, Plan D443340).
BY-LAW read a first, second and third time and finally passed this 15th day of January, 1996.
