BY-LAWNUMBER 4928/97
Being a by-law to establish a fee of $25.00 for the issuance of
Burial Permits.
WHEREAS pursuant to Section 220.1 of the Municipal Act, R,S.O. 1990, c. M.45, as
amended, a municipality may pass by-laws imposing fees or charges on any class of
persons for services or activities provided or done by or on behalf of it; and
NOW THEREFORE THE COUNCIL OF THE CORPORATION OF THE TOWN OF
PICKERING HEREBY ENACTS AS FOLLOWS:
1. A fee of $25.00 shall be imposed for the issuance of Burial Permits.
2. This By-law shallnot take effect until April 1, 1997.
By-law read a first, second and third tune and finally passed this 17th day of February,
1997.
