Winterstein, Manager, Corporate Promotions & Economic Development and J. Hodgson, Manager, Customer Service & Administrative Services, appeared before the Management Forum to update members present on the Citizens report. She advised that there would be a special edition with respect to sustainable Pickering. She further advised that messages had been prepared for members of Council and requested a response by Wednesday May 25, 2006. Presentation from Sernas & Associates on Master Environmental Services Plan on Duffin Heights R. Webster, Sernas & Associates, R. Halliday and representatives of Mattamy Homes appeared before the Management Forum for the purpose of updating members present on the Master Environmental Services Plan on Duffin Heights. A question period ensued. Mr. Webster clarified that everything was in draft form at the present time, but extensive work had been completed to date. In summary he stated that the key priorities of an Environmental Servicing Plan would be to confirm the limits of the Natural Heritage System west of Brock Road; review the needs of the aerterial roads, set the parameters of storm water management and review municipal servicing requirements, including agree to front funding of the environmental assessments/Region of Durham. The Director, Planning & Development advised that a peer review was not necessary, however, a consultant would be required for when the City did not have the necessary expertise on staff; rather than at the end of the proposal. 3. Presentation of the Clerk's Division 2005 Accomplishments and 2006 Quarterly Update The City Clerk provided a detailed overview of the Clerk's Division 2005 Accomplishments, along with an update with respect to 2006.
