Ontario Municipal Board has approved Bay Ridges zoning.
Byron Hail, on behalf of West Rouge Grade 8 students thank
Councilor courtesies giyeR when they appeared.
Mrs. polson again asks for a Kennel Licence - Moore Road and
Highway 2.
Resolution of the City of North Bay for endorsement" requesting
Department of Education to make it possible for all qualified
students to receive a University education, that Junior Univer-
sitiesto teach two year courses be eltablished and a levy be
made on all lands to operate ,same and that municipalities pay
tuition fees of any deserving student.
Clerk approves East Rouge Water Petition, 76<% signatures;
81% assessment.

On MOTION of Mr. Boyes, seconded by Mr. Deak1n Bert Sanham and
Jack Dunham were heard. CARRIED
Mr. Sanham stat~ they wished to operate stock car racing on 95
acres, being east half of Lot 28, Con. 1. They would build a
grandstand to seat 2750 imaediately with seating capacity of 8000
eventually, and have a quarter mile track with racing twice a week '
between 8: 30 and 10: 30 p. m. Track would be floed lit" no go karts,
7' fence_round track, and could operate in two weeks after Council
approve&. Track would probably be 1000' r~ Second Concession.
Reeve Scott asked Mr. Sanham to submit his proposal in writing.
=REAS it is proposed to enter into an agreeMent with the Ontario
a er ResO\lof'Ces Commission for the provision of a sewage works
project.;
BE IT THEIIFORE RESOLVED that the cost of providing service connections
shall be borne by the owners or occupants of the lands to which such
connections are provided, and such cost may be paid in full at the
time the sel""¥1ce cònnections are provided, or may be paid in equal
annual instal.ents over a period not exoeeding thirty (30) years.

to license and regulate the owners or operators of public garages
within the Township of Pickering be now read a second time and
that Council go into Committee of the Whole thereon.

Mr. Boyes, seconded by Mr. Laycox, moves for leave to introduce a
By-Law of the Township of Pickering to set sewage service rates in
the sewage area or the Township of Pickering, and that same now be
read a fi rst time.
Mr. Boyes, seconded by Mr. James, moves that By-Law Number 2609 to
set sewage service rates in the sewage area of the Township of
Pickering, be now read a second time, and that Council go into
Committee of the Whole thereon.
The Committee of the Whole arises and reports the By-Law as read.
