CARRIED Mr. Sanham stat~ they wished to operate stock car racing on 95 acres, being east half of Lot 28, Con. 1. They would build a grandstand to seat 2750 imaediately with seating capacity of 8000 eventually, and have a quarter mile track with racing twice a week ' between 8: 30 and 10: 30 p. m. Track would be floed lit" no go karts, 7' fence_round track, and could operate in two weeks after Council approve&. Track would probably be 1000' r~ Second Concession. Mr. Mowbray seconded by Mr. James, moves that By-Law Number 2803 to license and regulate the owners or operators of public garages within the Township of Pickering be now read a second time and that Council go into Committee of the Whole thereon. - 3 - By-Law Number 2603 (Continued) The Committee of the Whole arises and reports the By-Law as read. Mr. Boyes, seconded by Mr. James, moves that By-Law Number 2609 to set sewage service rates in the sewage area of the Township of Pickering, be now read a second time, and that Council go into Committee of the Whole thereon. The Committee of the Whole arises and reports the By-Law as read. Mr. Boyes, seconded by Mr. Spang, moves that the report of the Committee of the Whole on By-Law No. 2609 be adopted, and that the said By-Law be now read a Third time and PASSED; that the Reeve and Clerk sign the same, and the Seal of the Corporation be affixed thereto. Mr. Spang seconded by Mr. Mowbray, moves that the report of the Committee of the Whole on By-Law No. 2610 be adopted, and that the said By-Law be now read a Third time and PASSED; that the Reeve and Clerk sign the same, and the Seal of the Corporation be affixed thereto.
