MOVED by Mrs. Hay, seconded b y Mrs. Wisebrot, that minutes of meeting
held October 25 be adopted. CARRIED

ACCOUNTS
L. MOVED by Mrs. Wisebrot, seconded by Mrs. Hay, that the following accounts
be paid:
Russell Wiseman - showcases - $200.00
McBrien Transport - cartage 10.00
Robert Miller - plywood for
o windows in Mrs. Johnston's
barn & blacksmith shop 20.00
Centennial Medals - Mrs. Hay
t: Trade - Child's wagon and ice box ($17.00) for maps. CARRIED
CENTENNIAL PROJECT
Toirnship advises that Centennial Commission wish to know where board wants
plaque for Centennial project placed.
• Mr. Miller reported:
I.; (a) Mr. K. Pascoe has a transit and will level cement posts for church
on museum grounds.
L (b) On contacting Mr. Tien Reesor was advised that if Morley Sees took
down Newman barn at Bay it would cost $1,000. If Mt. Zion or Greenwood
Clubs are interested to take off siding, roof board and roofing, Hr.
` ro Symes would let down barn at a great saving.

. C (c) hr. Harrison, tlhe mover, would be contacted to give prices on moving
Collins house; Mrs, Cole 's house, blacksmith shop, two buildings on
Frock Load, and also the route of the moving. Then Hydro and Bell
Telephone would be contacted in r egard to cost of moving wires.
(d) ' Mr. Rempel inspected church with Dr. Arthur Reynolds. His report:

Mrs,' Wisebrot reported that service clubs she had contacted had projects
outlined and were unlikely to be able to assist with demolition of buildings.
She agreed to contact the Owaute Scot- to see if they would participate in
the I+work.

Secretary replied that no reply had been received about lot from owner in

Agreed that Historical Society be asked to to do research on Greenwood
C blacksmith shop and Brougham School for material for signs.

i r. 'Iiiiller reported that he needed a tire-setting tank for the blacksmith shop.
Mr. ;hiller discussed the plan for the 1900 exhibit.

RESOLUTIONS
MOVED by Mrs. Hay, ` seconded by Hr. Parkin, that application for membership
L be sent to Canadian Museut Association, to take effect in 1967. CARRIED
MOVED by Mrs. Hay,; seconded by Mr. Parkin, that Mr. Symes take down the
Newman barn if necessary, but profer rably that the help of the Mount Zion
and/or- Greenwood groups do this work, the cost not to exceed $1,000.

MOVED by Mrs Hay, seconded by Mr.- Parkin, that Hr. Mowbray be contacted and
c reauosted to write a letter to the owner of lot in Iowa asking for a reply to
they Museum Board' s' letter, and relating the power S of expropriation vested

Centennial Commission and tell of circumstances leading to the museum

1 Ei Secretary requested to write to Centennial Commission and ask what the size
of the plaque will be before d.ecisio. is made on its location.
Mr. Miller deplored the absence of Council representatives at meeting & it was
C agreed that there should be some way of pointing out to council their
responsibility towards the museum and the Centennial project.
