Taylor - Town Clerk (I) ADOPTION OF MINUTES Council Meeting of September 11th 1978 Executive Committee Meeting of September 11th 1978 Planning Committee ,Meeting of May 8th 1978 Planning Committee Meeting of September 12th 1978 (II) RESOLUTIONS Resolution 139/78 Moved by Councillor Fisher Seconded by Councillor Cahill That the report of the Executive Committee of September 11th 1978, be adopted. See Appendix I Resolution 140/78 CARRIED Moved by Councillor Fisher Seconded by Councillor Cahill That the report of the Planning Committee of September 12th 1978, be adopted. CARRIED (III) BY-LAWS councillor Robertson, seconded by councillor Cahill moved for leave to introduce By-laws of the Town of pickering: By-Law Number 892/78 - Two Readings Only Being a By-law to stop up a part of Sideline 22 from Concession 3 Road north to the Canadian Pacific Railway right-of-way and to authorize the sale thereof to the Municipality of Metropolitan Toronto. By-Law Number 893/78 Being a Restricted Area By-law to amend Restricted Area By-law 2511, as amended, and to implement the Official Plan of the Town of pickering. THIRD READING Councillor Robertson, seconded by Councillor Cahill moved that the report of the Committee of the Whole on By-law Number 893/78 be adopted, and that the said By-law be now read a Third Time and finally PASSED and that the Mayor and Clerk sign the same, and the Seal of the Corporation be affixed thereto. CARRIED By-law read a first, second and third time and finally passed. ( III) CONFIRMATION BY-LAW By-Law Number 894/78 Councillor Cahill, seconded by Councillor Robertson moved for leave to introduce a By-law of the Town of Pickering to confirm the proceedings of the Council of the corporation of the Town of Pickering at its meeting held on the 18th day of September 1978, and that same be now read a first, second and third time and that the same be now finally passed and that the Mayor and Clerk sign the same and that the Seal of the Corporation be thereto affixed. CARRIED þ By-law read a first, second and third time and finally passed. APPENDIX II 3/78 TOWN OF PICKERING The Planning Committee, having met September 12th 1978, presents its third report to the Council of the Town of Pickering and recommends: MODIFICATION TO MINISTER'S ZONING ORDER BY ROBERT H. GREEN ON BROCK ROAD, SOUTH OF THE FOURTH CONCESSION. FILE NUMBER B2310 - M16/78 That application M 16/78 by R. H. Green to modify the Minister's Zoning Order with respect to lands being part of Lot 18, Concession 3, to permit the construction of a residence on a lot with 29.32 m (96.20 feet) frontage and 1.83 ha (4.515 acres) lot area, be APPROVED, subject to the following conditions: 1. That the applicant enter into a satisfactory agreement with the Town regarding the demolition of all existing structures on the subject land. 2. That access to subject land be restricted to Regional Road #4. 3. That a minimum building setback from the existing road allowance of Brock Road be 120 feet. 4. That prior to the issuance of a building permit, the owner make suitable arrangements with Canadian Pacifjc Railway, regarding fencing. 2. Changes in red as shown on the Plan stamped approved this date. 2. Owner to make satisfactory arrangements with Council regarding the required parkland dedication. 3. Owner enter into a satisfactory subdivision agreement with the Town of Pickering. 4. Owner make satisfactory arrangements with the Town of Pickering and the Regional Municipality of Durham regarding: i) ii) the provision of all services, the allocation of sewage treatment capacity and water capacity for the development. 5. FILE NUMBER B 2310 - A13/78 That By-law Amendment Application, A 13/78 submitted by Bramalea Limited to amend Restricted Area By-law 3036, with respect to lands being Part of Lot 30, Range 3 from Residential (R1) and Greenbelt(G) to Industrial Storage and Light Manufacturing (M1-1) be APPROVED subject to the following conditions: 1. That a satisfactory Development Agreement be entered into between the owner and the Town of Pickering; the agreement shall include but not be restricted to control of grading, drainage, architectural design, fencing, lighting, landscaping, emergency access. 2. That the applicant satisfy both the Town and the Region of Durham with respect to dedication of road widenings, servicing, etc. 3. That a 0.5 m reserve along Rosebank Road be dedicated to the Town. That the applicant obtain approval from the Metropolitan Toronto and Region Conservation Authority (M.T.R.C.A.) prior to the issuance of a building permit. APPLICATION FOR REZONING BY SHELL CANADA LIMITED ON THE SOUTHEAST CORNER OF BROCK ROAD AND BAYLY STREET.
