SPECIAL-CQUNCIL-MEETINC
A Special meeting of the Pickering Town Council was held
Monday, June 8, 1981 at 7:30 p.m.
PRESENT:
Mayor J. Anderson
COUNCILLORS:
Byers
Cahill
Coburn
Fisher
Robertson
Stoner
ALSO PRESENT:
C.M.T. Sheffield - Town Solicitor
B. Taylor - Town Clerk
Pursuant to Section 2010.4 of The Town of Pickering Municipal
Code, this Special Meeting was called to consider the first
and second reading of two by-laws to close a portion of
Valley Farm Road and Simon, Henry and Captain Streets.

Councillor Cahill, seconded by Councillor Stoner moved
for leave to introduce By-laws of the Town of Pickering:
By~law.N\lmbQr-1301t81
Being a by-law of the Corporation of the Town of Pickering
to stop up part of Valley Farm Road.
By~law-N\lmbQr-1302t81
Being a By-law to stop up Simon Street, Henry Street and
Captain Street and to authorize the sale of that part of
the said roads to abutting property owners.
