OTHER BUSINESS
Discussion ensued on the Senior of the Year category. Subject to the nominees’
approval, the Committee would like to award Shane Coburn a Lifetime Achievement
Award.
Mayor Ryan would like to request that staff advise nominees that there are Civic
Award Categories that individuals can be nominated for.
Councillor Johnson asked staff if they could look into changing the date of the Civic
Awards presentation on May 26th as he is unable to attend due to another commitment
with a Sick Kids Fundraiser. Mayor Ryan said he would speak with the City Clerk,
however, there may be a conflict as this meeting must be televised.
ADJOURNMENT
The meeting adjourned at 7:00 pm.
