A Special Meeting of the Pickering Town Council was held on Monday,
July 6, 1992 at 2:09 p.m.

This Special Meeting of Council was called by the Acting Mayor
pursuant to Section 3 of By-law Number 3665/91 (Procedural BY-law)
to consider a motion to authorize the use of a Town-owned vehicle on
July 7, 1992 to participate in a "No Dumps" rally at Queen's Park.

That the Council of the Corporation of the Town of Pickering hereby
re-affirms its support of past resolutions objecting to the
establishment of landfill sites in the Town of Pickering as outlined
in Resolution Numbers 147/86, 150/86, 33/89, 56/89, 104/89, 27/90,
129190 and 134190;
and that the Council of the Corporation of the Town of Pickering
hereby authorizes the use of a Town-owned vehicle on July 7, 1992 to
participate in the "No Dumps" rally at Queen's Park.
