(I) . Disclosure of Interest
No disclosures of interest were noted.
(II) Part `A' Information Reports
Nilesh Surti, Manager, Development Review&Urban Design, gave an outline of
the requirements for a Statutory Meeting under the Planning Act. He outlined the
notification process procedures and also noted that if a person or public body does
not make oral or written submissions to the City before the by-law is passed, that
person or public body are not entitled to appeal the decision of City Council to the
Ontario Municipal Board, and may not be entitled to be added as a party to the
hearing unless, in the opinion of the Board, there are reasonable grounds to do so.

A.public information meeting was held under the Planning Act, for the purpose of.
informing the public with respect to the above-noted application.
Amy Emm, Planner II with the aid of a power point presentation, provided an outline.
of Information Report 08-15.
Brian Moss, Brian Moss &Associates Ltd., appeared before the Committee. With
the aid of a power point presentation, he provided an overview of the application,
outlining the elevations and densities as well as the design concept.
A question and answer period ensued with respect to materials to be used and
parking spaces. Concerns were noted with having only one parking spot per unit
available. Staff responded to questions raised regarding circulation requirements.

No members of the public appeared in favour of or in opposition to the application.

World Council on City Data
A new global standard on City Indicators
Recommendation
Moved by Mayor Ryan
Seconded by Councillor Pickles
1. That the Global City Indicators Facility and the World Council on City Data
be advised that the City of Pickering appreciates the invitation, but that the
City of Pickering will not be submitting an expression of interest to'participate
in the ISO 37120 program at this time;
2. That the City of Pickering continue to monitor local and global participation in
the program and reconsider participation in the program in future years; and
3. That a copy of Report PLN 15-15 be forwarded to Global City Indicators..
Facility and the World Council on City Data. .
