RESOLUTIONS
Resolution #162/01
Moved by Mayor Arthurs
Seconded by Councillor Holland
That pursuant to Section 55(7) of the Municipal Act, RS.O. 1990, c MA5, as amended, the Council of
the Corporation of the City of Pickering hereby resolves to conduct a closed meeting to consider an
appointment.

Seconded by Councillor Ryan
1. That Clerk's Report CL 52-01 regarding an appointment to the Public Library Board to fill the
vacancy created by the resignation of Jill Foster be received; and
-
2. That Kam Rathee be appointed to the Public Library Board for a term to expire on November 30,
2003; and
3. That By-law #5927/01 to give effect to this appointment be enacted.
