Your letter was received yesterday, November 15th, 1994.
I visited the above house in Green River and although the building
appears to be over 100 years old there have been numerous reno-
vations and a substantial addition since it was originally
constructed . It is not a designated heritage building under Part
IV of The Ontario Heritage Act , RSO 1980. As a representative
of Heritage Pickering I have no objection to the proposed addition
providing it is in character with the existing building.
Thanie for the information with your letter and we are pleased
that our Committee was consulted in this application and would
appreciate being informed of any other similar application to
the Planning Department .

will be heard by the Town of Pickering Committee of Adjustment, in the Town of Picketing -
Civic Complex Committee Room, One The Esplanade, Pickering, Ontario, on WEDNESDAY,
NOVEMBER 23, 1994,7:00 P.M. OR THEREAFTER.
This is a Public Hearing at which you or your representative are entitled to attend, either in
favour of, or opposed to this application. If attendance is not practical, written comments will
be accepted. If you know of any interested persons who have not received notice, please inform
them.
In the case of the applicant, you are hereby advised that you must be present in person or be
represented in order to present your application to the Committee.
N.B. To all persons and agencies making comment: - If you find this application acceptable,
please list conditions you wish to be considered for inclusion in the approval. If you find this
application unacceptable,please list reasons for your objection.
If a copy of the Committee's Decision is required, please make your request in writing to the

IN THE MATTER OF an application for variance from Zoning By-law Number 3037, as
amended by By-law 2676/88, a Zoning By-law for the Town of Pickering.
EXISTING ZONING RELIEF APPLIED FOR
"HMR1" - Detached Dwelling Residential The applicants request relief from the
Uses provisions of Section 5.(1)(c)(i)A of the
By-law to permit the continuance of a lot
Section 5.(1)(c)(i)A of amending By-law with a minimum frontage of 20 metres, and
2676/88 requires that a residential lot which a minimum area of 1,046 square metres.
