(1429-1433 ROUGEMOUNT DRIVE)

outlined in Information Report#18-00 and Information Report#17-00.
• 2. Simon Hunter, 1436 Rougemount Drive, spoke in opposition to these
applications. This area was designated a certain policy zone due to its character
which will be altered if these applications are approved. The road is unassumed,
there are no sidewalks and the shoulders are unuseable for walking or riding bikes
on. Since installing speed humps three years ago on an experimental basis the
City has not followed up with Fire, Ambulance or the Boards to receive their
feedback on the affects of these speed humps. Consideration should not be given
to splitting these properties or providing building permits until sidewalks are
installed and the road is assumed.

3. Tim Sanderson, 1442 Rougemount Drive, also spoke in opposition to these

for the zoning. She asked what the height limitation is and how many parking
spaces will be on site. She stated her concern with limiting on-site parking and
allowing off-site parking.
3. The applicant stated that they are attempting to make the site as aesthetically
pleasing as possible and that it will be a barrier-free facility.
(V) DRAFT PLAN OF SUBDIVISION APPLICATION SP-2000-01
PARKMOUNT BUILDING CORPORATION
PART OF LOTS 1 TO 3,PLAN 505
(REAR PORTION OF LANDS ON THE WEST SIDE OF ROSEBANK
ROAD, SOUTH OF FOXWOOD TRAIL AND EAST OF AUTUMN CRES.)
1. . Ron Taylor, Planner 1, provided an explanation of the application, as outlined in
Information Report#15-00.
2. Helen Lepik, agent for the applicant, advised that the road pattern suggested in
this application is an approved road pattern. The zoning does approve semi-
detached but the owner wished to develop something compatible with the area.
3. Jim Stavropoulas, 410 Pineview Lane, bought his property because of the
adjacent vacant land and dead-end court. This development will drastically
change the area and will affect his property value. He is concerned with the
extension of his street.
4. Nicholas Vickovic, 1752 White Cedar Dr., stated his concern with the land just
north of this development. He also purchased his property after being advised
that no future development was to take place. He questioned when the future
extension would take place of Autumn Crescent to Foxwood Drive.
5. Joan Donnelly, commented on the amount of work maintaining this property and
stated that change must occur.
6. Mr. Grunert, Rosebank Road, advised that they didn't want development in the
area but he did occur. They moved to the country and now live in the city.
7. Helen Lepik, agent for the applicant, advised that the zoning for this area has been
in affect since 1993. When a development is being constructed the real estate
agents are to display a plan advising of future development in the area.
