HomeMy WebLinkAboutZoning By-law 7145/11 Cat<< o~ :z PICK NOTICE OF PASSING OF A ZONING BY-LAW THE CORPORATION OF THE CITY OF PICKERING TAKE NOTICE that the Council of the Corporation of the City of Pickering passed By- law Number 7145/11 (Al 1/10) on June 20, 2011. Council approved the rezoning of the subject lands, municipally known as 1786 and 1790 Liverpool Road and the passage of this By-law is the implementation of that approval. The purpose and effect of this by-law is to permit a financial institution with an associated drive through facility. AND TAKE NOTICE that any individual, corporation or public body may appeal to the Ontario Municipal Board in respect of By-law Number 7145/11 by filing, with the Clerk of the Corporation of the City of Pickering no later than the 13th day of July, 2011 Notice of Appeal setting out the reasons for the appeal. The Notice of Appeal must be accompanied by the fee required by the Ontario Municipal Board, which is $125.00. Cheques must be made payable to the "Minister of Finance". AND TAKE NOTICE that only individuals, corporations and public bodies may appeal a zoning by-law to the Ontario Municipal Board. A notice of appeal may not be filed by an unincorporated association or group. However, a notice of appeal may be filed in the name of an individual who is a member of the association or the group on its behalf. If you wish to appeal to the OMB, a copy of an appeal form is available from the OMB website. www.omb.gov.on.ca. If a person or public body does not make oral submissions at a public meeting or make written submissions to the City of Pickering before the by-law is passed; the person or public body is not entitled to appeal the decision of the City of Pickering to the Ontario Municipal Board and may not be added as a party to the hearing of an appeal before the Ontario Municipal Board unless, in the opinion of the Board, there is reasonable grounds to do so.
