Taylor K. r,1cKay T. r1agi T. ~1elymuk - Town Manager - Town Clerk - Deputy Clerk - Director of Planning - Manager - Policy and Information Division ~/5YJJ'f~ (1) PROPOSED ZONING BY-LAW NUMBER 3r86f89 TOWN- I NITrATED TO AMEND THE OFFICIAL PLAN RESPECTING AS-OF-RIGHT GOLF COURSES 1. An explanation of the by-law was given by the Manager, Policy and Information Division. 2. Greg Hoy, spoke in support of the by-l aw as it wi 11 now conform with the Regional Official Plan and stated there shoul d be no changes unl ess an appl i cati on to amend the Official Plan is submitted. -- 3. Lorne Almack, on behalf of the Pickering Rural Association, stated that a rural policy for golf courses should be developed and submitted a report prepared by the Associ ati on whi ch i ncl udes specifi c criteria. 4. John Veale, Claremont, spoke in support of the by-law which will conform with the Official Plan. 5. Henry Benton, Westney Road, spoke in support of the by-law which will conform with the Official Plan. He requested that proper pl anni ng procedures be foll owed wi th respect to rezoni ng appl i cati ons that are received. ...... ~ (I I) 1. 2. (III) 8/89 2 3/~ti/$q~ PROPOSED ZONING BY-LAW NUMBER 3287/09 TOWN- INITIATED TO AMEND THE OFFICIAL PLAN RESPECTING AS-OF-RIGHT GOLF COURSES An explanation of the by-law was given by the Manager, Policy and Information Division. Murray Carson, representi ng Four Seasons Gol f Course, stated that there was an exi sti ng golf course across the road and that it should be included in the by-law.
