A Statutory Public Meeting was held by the Pickering Town Council on
Monday, November 20, 1989 at 7:30 p.m.

1. An explanation of the application was given by the Director
of Planning.
2. Ted Cicieura was in attendance on behalf of the applicant.
3. There were no comments in favour of or opposed to the
by-law.

EAST SIDE OF SPRUCE HILL ROAD, SOUTH OF WELRUS STREET
1. An explanation of the application was given by the Director
of Planning.
2. Glen Robb, adjacent property owner, spoke in opposition to
the by-law. He stated that the rezoning is not compatible
and if approved, other appl i cati ons for severance wi 11 have
to be approved.
3. Cassandra Nadoo, adjacent property owner, spoke in
opposition to the by-law. She stated she was told in the
past that density in the area coul d not be changed. She
and others are on septic systems and density should remain
low because severances could create problems with septic
systems.

1.
An explanation of the application was given by the Director
of Planning.
2.
John Germain, on behalf of the applicant, spoke in support
of the by-law.
3.
The resi dent of 1599 Everly Road spoke on behalf of area
residents in support of the by-law.
