Wayne Everist, 1969 Southview Drive, stated that he was
made aware of this proposal only last night as were others
on Southview Drive. The residents on Southview Drive have
requested an Ontario Municipal Board hearing with respect
to an apartment proposal at the corner of Southview Drive
and Kingston Road as it relates to density and asked if
this had been taken into consideration by the Planners or
the developer.
Gerald Lodge, 1972 Southview Drive, stated that with the
development of apartments at the corner of southview Drive
and Kingston Road, it was agreed that there would be
advance dialogue with the residents pertaining to future
development. The proposed development is very large and
could erode property values.
Ken Williars, representing Frank Wonnacott, stated that the
entrance to the Finch Avenue building would only service
that building and that improvements to Finch Avenue would
be determined by the Department of Public Works. He will
meet with any residents in the area to discuss this
proposal.
