Wong Town Clerk Director of Planning Manager, Policy Division Planner '-" ABSENT: Mayor Arthurs (attending PACT meeting) (I) ZONING BY-LAW AMENDMENT APPLICATION A 12./92 COUGS INVESTMENTS (PREVIOUSLY DEVELOPMENT MANAGEMENT CORP.) PART OF LOT 21. CONCESSION 2 1. An explanation of the application, as outlined in Information Report No. 1/93, was given by Catherine Rose, Manager, Policy Division. (II) OFFICIAL PLAN AMENDMENT APPLICATION 92-Q.06/P ZONING BY-LAW AMENDMENT APPLICATION A 14/92 FRANK WONNACOTT PART OF LOT 17. CONCESSION 2 ...... 1. An explanation of Information Report Planner. the application, as No. 2/93, was given by outlined in Chris Wong, 2. Waltraud Lepard, 1766 Finch Avenue, stated that Finch Avenue in its present condition is inadequate to handle any further traffic and asked if the residents in the two twelve storey apartments could access Finch Avenue as well as the residents in the seven storey apartment. She further stated that the development is not in character with the existing neighbourhood and asked if the Town will be upgrading Finch Avenue. ..... 3. ... 4. 5. '-' (III) Dated ."., ...... - - 2 - - Wayne Everist, 1969 Southview Drive, stated that he was made aware of this proposal only last night as were others on Southview Drive. The residents on Southview Drive have requested an Ontario Municipal Board hearing with respect to an apartment proposal at the corner of Southview Drive and Kingston Road as it relates to density and asked if this had been taken into consideration by the Planners or the developer. Gerald Lodge, 1972 Southview Drive, stated that with the development of apartments at the corner of southview Drive and Kingston Road, it was agreed that there would be advance dialogue with the residents pertaining to future development. The proposed development is very large and could erode property values. Ken Williars, representing Frank Wonnacott, stated that the entrance to the Finch Avenue building would only service that building and that improvements to Finch Avenue would be determined by the Department of Public Works. He will meet with any residents in the area to discuss this proposal. ADJOURNMENT OF STATUTORY PUBLIC MEETING The meeting adjourned at the hour of 7:41 p.m.
