Be4.ng a By-law of the Corporation of the
T;?wn of Pickering to appoint Valuers of
Live Stock and Poultry in the Town of
Pickering
WHEREAS pursuant to the provisions of subsection l
of section 14 of The Dog Licensing and Live Stock and
Poultry Protection Act (formerly entitled The Does Tax
and Live Stock- and Poultry Protection Act), R.S.O. 1970,
c.133, the Council of every local municipality shall
appoint valuers of live stock and poultry for the
purposes of the said Act;
NOW THEREFORE the Council of the Corporation of the To-,?n
of Pickering hereby enacts as follows:
1. Robert Malcolm and Grant Carson are hereby appointee)
Valuers of live stock and poultry in the Town of
Pickering for the purposes of The Dog Licensing and
Liv4 Stock and Poultry Protection Act.
2. Each valuer shall continue to act as such until his
successor has been appointee.
3. The remuneration for each Valuer of live stock and
poultry shali be fifteen dollars ($15.00) for each
inspection of one or more sheep or other animals,
together with making report as to same; plus the sum
of 194-per mile (124? per kilometre) for distance
travelled necessarily on Town business.
4. By-law Aumber 150/75 is hereby repealed.
By-law read a first, second and third time and PASSED
this 11 day of , 1977.
