A By-law of the Corporation of the
Township of Picketing to authorize
the execution by the Reeve and Clerk
of an Agreement between the Victorian
Order of Nurses and the Corporation of
the Township of Picketing.
WHEREAS The Homemakers and Nurses Services Act R.S.O.
1960, Chapter 173 provides that the Council of a Township
may enter into agreement with any organization that is
approved by the Minister under which the organization
undertakes to furnish Homemakers or Nurses, or both, for
the purposes of t~s Act.
AND WHEREAS The Victorian Order of Nurses {South Ontario
County Branch} has agreed to provide Nurses Services under
the said Act.
NOW THEREFORE the Municipal Council of the Township
ENACTS AS FOLLOWS:
1. That the Township enter into an agreement with the
Victorian Order of Nurses {South Ontario County Branch)
for t~m to undertake to furnish Nurses Services as
provided under the said Act and Regulations, and that
the Reeve and the Clerk be authorized to sign such
agreement on_behalf of the Corporationl ~ ~ ~o~ ~'
By-law 3699/69 be and the same is hereby repealed.
By-law read a first, second and third time this 6th day of
April, 1970.
