BY-LAW NUMBER
A By-law of the Corporation of
the Township of Pickering to
retain the services of an
Architect for the purpose of
designing a new Fire Hall, and
to authorize the Reeve and Clerk
to negotiate an agreement.
WHEREAS the Council of the Township of Pickering deems
it necessary that a new Fire Hall be erected in the south central
part of the Township of Pickering, and
WHEREAS the Council of the Township of Pickering
interviewed a number of representatives of architectural firms,
The Council of the Corporation of the Township of
of Pickering ENACTS AS FOLLOWS:
1. THAT the firm of Landau and Silverberg, Architects,
be retained to design the new Pickering Township Fire
Hall.
2. THAT the Reeve and Clerk be authorized to negotiate
the agreement between the Township and the Architect.
By-law read a first, second and third time and PASSED in open
Council this ~/~day of October, 1968.
