Being a By-law to authorize the
retaining of a consultant to
represent the Township of Pickering
in its appeal of the County of
Ontario Equalization Assessment.
~ WHEREAS the Corporation of the Township of Pickering
has b~ Resolution #Z47/68 passed September 16th, 1968, as
provided by Section 96 (1) of the Assessment Act, appealed the
County Equalization Assessment as submitted by the County of
Ontario by By-law 2642, and
WHEREAS the Corporation deems it necessary to retain
the services of a consultant to represent the Township on its
appeal,
The Council of the Corporation of the Township of
Pickering ENACTS AS FOLLOWS:
THAT W. R. Kellough and Associates be retained to
represent and prepare the Township's case against the Ontario
County in its appeal of the County Equalization Assessment (1968).
Read a first, second and third time and PASSED in open Council
