A By-law of the Corporation of the Township
of Picker~n~ to set a date, hour and place for
receiving nominations for members of the
Combined Separate School Board for the combined
areas of Town of Ajax, Village of Picketing and
the Township of Picketing for the years 1969
and 1970 and the date and hours of election if
necessary, as provided for under the Separate
Schools Act, Subsection i of Section 21 as
amended (Bill 168}.
The Municipal Council of the Corporation of the Township of
Picketing ENACTS AS FOLLOWS:
1. That the place for receiving nominations for (2) Two candidates
for The Combined Separate School Board for the years 1969
and 1970 shall be in:
(1) PICKERING DISTRICT HIGH SCHOOL (Church St. N.}
on Monday the 18th day of November, 1968 and that the
hour during which such nominations shall be received
shall commence ?:00 o'clock p.m. and end at the hour
of 8:00 o'clock in the evening.
2. That should an election be necessary, a poll of the electors
will be held on the first Monday in December and the polls
shall be open between the hours of lO:00 o'clock in the
mornin~ and 8:00 o'clock in the evening.
Read a First, Second and Third time and PASSED in open Council
