WHEREAS The Metro and Region Conservation Authority has
requested the Township to close the lands more particularly
described in Schedule "A" attached hereto;
AND WHEREAS the Council of the Corporation of the Township
of Pickering proposes to stop up and close as a public
3lighway. the lands described in Schedule "All
AND WHEREAS notice of this by-law has been published once
a week for four consecutive weeks and posted up for one
month in six of the most public places in the immediate
neighbourhood of the said public highway to be closed and
the provisions of the Municipal Act relating to the stop-
ping up of highway have been complied with;
NOW THEREFORE the Council of the Corporation of the Town-
ship of Pickering hereby enacts as follows:
1. The lands described in Schedule "A" hereto attached
are hereby stopped up and closed as a public highway.
2. The said Schedule "A" hereto attached shall form part
of this By-law.
3. For the purpose of illustration only a plan showing
the lands described in Schedule "A" coloured in red
and referred to as Schedule "B" is attached hereto and
shall form part of this By-law.

SCHEDULE "A"
ALL AND SINGULAR that certain parcel or tract of land and
premises situate, lying and being in the Township of
Pickering, Counter of Ontario and Province of Ontario, con-
taining by admeasurement an area of 1.523 Acres be the
same more or less and being composed of part of the Allow-
ance for Road between Lots 32 and 33 in the Third Range,
Broken Front Concession and the limits of which said parcel
of land may be more particularly described as follows:
PREMISING that the Easterly limit of the Allowance for Road
in the Third Range of the said Township has an astronomic
course of North 16058120" West and relating all bearings
herein thereto;
COMMENCING at a survey monument in the Westerly limit of
the said Allowance for Road distant 200.92 feet measured
Southerly therealong from a survey monument at its inter-
section with the Easterly production of the Northerly
limit of Lot 1 according to a plan registered in the Reg-
istry Office for the Registry Division of the County of
Ontario as Number 189;
THENCE South 47016120" East 130.01 feet to a survey mon-
ument in the Easterly limit of said Allowance for Road;
THENCE South 16°58'20" East along the last mentioned limit
984.43 feet to the Northerly limit of the Rouge River as
shown on a plan registered in the Registry Office for the
said Registry Division as Number 283;
THENCE Northwesterly along said Northerly limit of the
Rouge River to its intersection with the Westerly limit
of said Allowance for Road, the said point being shown
on said Registered Plan 189 and being distant 28.00 feet
measured Southerly along the said Westerly limit from a
survey monument therein;
THENCE North 16058120" West along the last mentioned limit
1025.98 feet to the point of commencement;
SUBJECT to a Right-of--Way at all tunes, in favour of the
Corporation of the Township of Pickering, in, over, along
and upon the hereindescribed parcel of land;
