The Council of the Corpo~atlon of the Township of
Pickering~ in accordance with the provisions of
The Planning Act R. S. O. 1960 as amended, hereby
enacts as follows:
1, The attached map and explanatory text
constituting Amendmemt No. 9 to the
Official Plan of the Towl:$h~p of
Plckerin~ Plarazing Area, is hereby
adopted.
2. That the Clerk is hereby authorized
and directed to make application to
the Minister of Municipal Affairs for
approval of the aforementioned Amend-
ment No. 9 to the Official Plan of the
Township of Picketing Planning Area.
This by-law shall come into force and
take effect on the day of the final
passing thereof.

the aDDroval of the Minister of Muniolgal
Affairs.

ITEM 1 - LAND USE
LOCATION: Part L(~ 22, Conoession ~ (North
side of the 4th Concession Road, east side
of Sideline 22/23), as shown on the attached
Schedule I, and numbered "Item 1".
CHANGE: "RURAL" to "PIT AN~ QUARRY AREA".
STATEMENT: In conjunction with the Ontario
Municipal Board Decision regarding By-law
3037 (Aztecans Lands), the applicant's
total holdings are designated as Quar~.
The required setbacks and buffering, etc.
are presently controlled Dy the Licensing
By-law of the Township~ regulating pits and
quarries; and will be further strengthened
by additional restrictions to be contained
in the zoning by-law, which will implement
the Official Pl~ ~endment.

LOCATION: Part Lot 13, Concession 5 (South
side of the 6th Concession Road), as shown
on the attached Schedule I, and numbered
"Item 2".
CHANGE: "RURAL" to "PIT AND QUARRY AREA':°
STATEMENT: In accordance with the Ontario
Municipal Board Decision regarding By-law
BOB7 (Highland Creek Sand & Gravel Lands)~
the applicant's total holdings are designated
as Quarrye The required setbacks and buffering,
etc. are presently controlled by the Licensing
By-law of the Township, regulating pits and
quarries; and will be further strengthened
by additional restrictions to be contained
in the zoning by-law, which will implement
the Official Plan amendment.

GREENBELT-CONSERVATION" to "PIT AND QUARRY
AREA".
STATEMENT: In accordance with the Ontario
Municipal Board Decision regarding By-law
B037 (Highland Creek Sand & Gravel Lands),
the owner's total holdings are desi~ated
as Quarry. The required setbacks and
buffering, etc. are presently controlled
by the Licensing By-law of the Township;
reEulating pits and quarries; and will be
further strengthened by additional r~strict-
ions to be contained inth~ zoning by-law~
which will implemen~ the Official Plan
amendment.
