Home My WebLink AboutBy-law 3481 THE CORPORATION OF THE TO~VNSHIP OF PICKERING A By-law of the Corporation of the Township of Picketing to appoint members to the Township of Picketing Public Library Board, and to repeal By-law ~3448. WHEREAS The Public Libraries Act, 1966, under Section 5, Subsection 2, provides for the appointment of members to a Public Library Board. AND WHEREAS By-law Number 3218 of the Township of Picketing created a public library for the whole township. BE IT THEREFORE ENACTED that the following persons shall comprise the Library Board of the Township of Picketing and shall serve for the term indicated. 1. Councillor D. Kitchen 1968-1969 2. Mrs. Milton J. Mowbray 1968-1970 3. Mrs. N. Rowan 1968-1969 (Public School) ~. Mrs. D. O'Reilly 1968-1969 (Separate School) 5. Mrs. L. T. Johnston 1968 6. Mrs. E. B. Phin 196~ 7. Mr. F. Lowes 1968 8. Mr. R. Sanderson 1968-1969 9. Mr. Alban C. Ward 196~-1969 By-Law Number 3448 be and the smne is hereby repealed.
