The Planning Act R. S. O. 1960 as amended, hereby
enacts as follows:
1. The atgached map and explanatory text
constituting Amendment No. 8 to the
Official Plan of the To,reship of Picketing
Planning Area, is hereby edopted.
2. That the Clerk is hereby authoris~d
and directed to make application to
the Minister of Municipal Affairs
for approval of the aforementioned
Amendment No. 8 to the Official Plan
of the Township of Pickering Planniug
Area o
3. This By-law shall come im~o force and
take effect on the day of the final
passing thereof.

The following Text and Map, designated
Schedule IIA, constitutes Amendment No. C to the
Official Plan of the Townshio of Pickering Planning
Ares, and is herewith submitted for the aDproval
of the Minister of Municipal Affairs.
This proposal results from an amendment
application, approved by Council Resolution Number
202/67 dated June 1st, 1967 on the recommendation
of the Planning Board.
STEM 1
LOCATION: Part Lot 3, Range III (South side of the
Baseline Road, west of Sideline 2), being the land
as shown on the attached Schedule IIA as ITEM 1.

PURPOSE: This site is presently a level, ooen
field, proposed for a service station
and show rooms of a franchised General
Motors dealer.
The adjacent DroDerty to the west is
an agricultural fruit and vegetable
oDeration. To the east are three
residential dwellings of farm origin.
The property to the north is also
used for a~ricultural purposes.
However~ to the north-west a distance
of approximately 2,000 feet and near Ajax)
there is a concentration of Commercial uses.
