BY-LAW NO, 5137/97
Being a by-law to declare certain municipal lands, being
those parts of Block 24, Plan 40M-1538, Picketing,
designated as Parts' 15 and 16, Plan 40R-17151, as
surplus to the nee&' of the Town of Picketing in
accordance with By-Law 4592/95.
WHEREAS, The Town of Pickering on April 3, 1995 passed By-Law 4592/95 to establish procedures to
regulate the sale of Municipal Real Property pursuant to section 193(2) of the Municipal Act, R.S.O.
1990 c.M.45, as amended;
NOW THEREFORE, the Council of The Corporation of the Town of Pickering HEREBY ENACTS AS
FOLLOWS:
1. The land lying and being in the Town of Pickering, in the Regional Municipality of Durham
legally described as those parts of Block 24, Plan 40M-1538, Pickering, designated as Parts 15
and 16, Plan 40R-17151, are hereby designated as surplus lands for the purposes of The
Corporation of the Town of Picketing.
2. The Town Sohcitor is hereby authorized to make the necessaD, arrangements to prepare and
publish Notice pertaining to the disposal of the subject lands in accordance with By-Law
4592/95.
BY-LAW read a first, second and third time and finally passed this 14th day of October, 1997.
