DISPOSITION
THE CORpORAT!ION OF THE TOWN OF PICKERING
BY,LAW NO' 5134/97
Being a by-law to authorize the execution ora Subdivision
~lgreement and related documentation proposing to
subdivide that part of Lot 32, Concession ! and part of the
road allowance between Lots 32 and 33, Concession 1,
Picketing (Danlu Holdings Limited, Draft Plan 18T-
97001).
WHEREAS the proposal to subdivide and register a plan of subdivision on that part of Lot 32, Concession l
and part of the road allowance between Lots 32 and 33, Concession 1, Picketing, has been approved by the
Commissioner of Planning of the Regional Municipality of Durham as Draft Plan 18T-97001, subject to
several conditions, one of which requires the entering into ora satisfactory Subdivision Agreement with The
Corporation of the Town of Picketing, pursuant to the provisions of the Planning Act, R.S.O. 1990, chapter
P. 13 section 51 (6); and
WHEREAS, pursuant to the provision of the Municipal Act, R.S.O. 1990, chapter M.45, section 191(1) the
Council of the Corporation of the Town of Picketing may pass byqaws for acquiring any land or interest
therein tbr the purposes of the corporation;
NOW THEREFORE, the Council of the Corporation of the Town of Pickering HEREBY ENACTS AS
FOLLOWS:
i. The Mayor and Clerk are hereby authorized to execute a Subdivision Agreement in a form
satisthctory to the Town Solicitor between Danlu Holdings Limited and The Corporation of the
Town of Picketing, respecting the development on part of Lot 32, Concession I and part of the road
allowance between Lots 32 and 33, Concession !. Pickering, being Draft Plan 18T-97001.
2. The Corporation of the 'gown of Picketing shall acquire those lands or interests in the lands referred
to in section 34 and identified in Schedule A of that Subdivision Agreement subject to the terms and
conditions and for the purposes set out therein.
3. The Mayor and Clerk are hereby authorized to execute Transfers/Deeds of Easement in the form
attached hereto effecting the acquisition by The Corporation of the Town of Pickering of any
interests in land in the nature of storm drainage works easement~ respecting the development of
Draft Plan ! 8T-97001.
BY-LAW read a first, second and third time and finally passed this 14th day of October, 1997.
