A BY-LAW OF THE CORPORATION OF THE TOWNSHIP OF PICKERING TO ASSESS
CERTAIN COSTS OF BRINGING CERTAIN PARTS OF THE HAMLET OF PAIRPORT
gNDER THE LAND TITLES ACT.
WHEREAS on October 5, 1964, Council passed By-Law 2920 which brought
two parts of the Hamlet of Fairport under Land Titles Act;
AND WHEREAS the form By-Law did not provide how the costs of such
registration should be levied;
AND WHEREAS the accepted division of costs are Province 25%, Owners
37 1/2% and Municipality 37 1/2%, and the total estimated cost is
$4,930.00;
BE IT THEREFORE ENACTED by the Municipal Council of the Township of
Picketing that
1. The costs of placing Area "A" and Area "B" described in By-Law
2920 be borne as follows:
Province 25%, Owners 37 112% and Municipality 37 1/2%
2. The "Owners" share shall be computed on a parcel basis with
each parcel assessed a llke amount of the cost, and such cost
shall be added to their 1965 Tax Bill.
