A BY-LAW OF THE CORPORATION OF THE TOWNSHIP
OF PICKERING TO CLOSE AN UNOPENED SIDELINE
IN THE TOWNSHIP OF PICKERING.
WHEREAS it appears that the lands in Lot 35, Concession
One Township of Picketing known as the Trespass Road is owned by
the Corporation of the Township of Picketing.
AND WH. EREAS it appears that the said lands owned by
the Corporation of the Township of Picketing are not used as a
Township Road and the To%mship Road lies to the East of the lands
owned by the Corporation and known as the Trespass Road.
AND '~!EREAS the Clerk of the Township of Picketing has
posted signs and advertised in the local newspaper the proposed
closing of the said road in accordance with the Road Closing Act,
and there has not been cause shown, in the o~l~ion of Council, why
the road should not be closed.
BE IT THEREFORE ENACTED by the Municipal Council of
the Township of Picketing:
1. THAT the Road Allowance in Lot 35, Concession I of the
Township of Pickering known as the Trespass Road, and more parti-
cularly described in Schedule A attached hereto be and the same is
hereby stopped up and closed as a Township Road.
2. WHEN this By-law shall have been duly confirmed and
approved the said lands hereinbefore described shall be sold in
a manner as directed and required by law and for a price that shall
be satisfactory to the Council of the Corporation, and on sale
thereof shall be deeded to the Purchaser.
3. THIS By-law shall come into force and take effect at
once after it shall have been confirmed by the Council of the Corpo-
ration of the County of Ontario. ~ ~ ~

- SCHEDULE A -
ALL AND SINGULAR that certain parcel or tract of land and premises
situate, lying and being in the Township of Pickering and County of
Ontario and being composed of part of Lot 35 in the First Concession
of the said Township, which said parcel may be more particularly
described as follows: PREMISING THAT the bearing of the East limit
of the said Lot 35, Concession l, is N 17 degrees 06 minutes West
and relating all bearings used herein thereto; COM~ENCING AT a
point in the said Lot 35, Concession l, which may be located as
follows: BEGINNING AT the North-east angle of the said Lot 35,
Concession l; THENCE South 17 degrees 06 minutes East along the
said East limit, a distance of 825.0 feet; THENCE South 73 degrees
13 minutes 20 seconds West parallel to the North limit of the said
Lot 35 to a point of intersection with the existing Easterly limit
of a trespass road passing through said Lot, a distance of 99.0
feet, said point being the Point of Commencement. THENCE Northerly
along said existing East limit to a point in the North limit of the
said Lot 35, Concession 1, distan~ Westerly therein 47.45 feet from
the North-east angle of the said Lot, a distance of 826.3 feet
more or less; THENCE South 73 degrees 13 minutes 20 seconds West
along said North limit to a point of intersection with the existing
West limit of said trespass road, a distance of 30.0 feet; THENCE
Southerly along said existing West limit to a point of intersection
with a line drawn on a bearing of South 73 degrees 13 minutes 20
seconds West from the said Point of Commencement, a distance of
826.0 feet more or less; THENCE North 73 degrees 13 minutes 20
seconds East, a distance of 22.0 feet more or less to the Point of
Commencement.
