OF FICK~RI~[G A By-law to ~mend ~-law 2527 of th~ Corporation of the Township of Picketing. ~REA$ By-law 2527 of the Corporation of the Township of Picketing was duly passed on the 27th day of J~une 1960. By-l~w 2527 of the Corporation of the Township of Pickari~ is amende~ by deleting from the second recit$] contained therei~ the following words ~ and ~,he said by-]aw 2&12 having been np~r~ed by the Ontario I~a:~mcl~l ~ard hy order da ,e~; Au~gust ]gth 1959~ and by the Ontario Water Resources ~ard by order dated June ~ =~' 1~9 ~o that the said r~cital shall ~ad as follows; "~ W~.~kEA;3 ~-law ~12 wa~; passed ~uthorizin6 the construction or a Watermain extension on Island Road from Roage Hills Drive easterly to a point one h~ldred and forty fea~ (140~) distant west of Rivereou~ Drive for the s~ of two thousand four h~dred and s~ty doll.ars (~2~460.00)~ the said by-law been em,~ndsd by by-law to eo~a with the I]otiee of Intention dated Jul~ loth 1959 a~ s~ublished July 24th 1959;" The © ' ' oal~; By-18w 252? is further amended by deletinS therefrom the fifth ~eital reading as follows; "AliP i~N~REA$ the said water area has ~R assessment of two million sevsn h~dred g~nd fifty-four thousand eight hundred and ninety dollars (~2,7~,g90.00), the assess- men6 of 6h~ Township of Picketing is s~teen s~ hundred and twenty-seven thousand one hundred ~nd ei.chteen dollars and fou~een cents ($16,627,118.14), the total debenture debt ~cluding the debentures 6o be issued under this ~-law is two million ei~/~ht hundred and ten thousand three hundred a~d seventy-seven dolls rs ~nd nine%y-four cents (~2,glO,~77.94) ~nd no part of the principal or interest of such debenture debt is in arrear;" The said ~-law 2527 is ~mended by deleting from t~ragraph one thereof the words "... of financ~g the watermain extension on Island Read from Rouge Hills Drive eas%er].y to s point one hundred ~ld forty feet (1;~0~) distant west of River- court Drive in the Township of Fickeri~" and ~serti~ in lieu thereof Lhe wo~ "aforesaid" so that the said pantograph on~ shall read as follows; "1. For the purpose aforesaid: the said Corporation shall borrow upon the credit of the Corporation two thousand t~ee h~dred and f~ty dollars and seventy-one cents ($2,350.71) and shall issue debentures therefore." 4. The said By-law 2527 is further amended by deleting from lmragraph three thereof the words "within one year after the day on which the purpose of the said borrowing is approved by Order of the Ontario I4unicil~l Board" and substitutin~ therefore the words "on or befo~ the thirty-first day of December, ]960" so that the said ?aragraph three shall read as "5. All the debentures shall bear the same date~ and shall b~ issued at one t~e a.nd on or before the thi~.y-first day of Dece~m,r,a 1960, may bear any date within such year and shal.] be payable in ~mu~i ~stalments dur~g the period of twenty (20) years next after the date of issue thereof, and the respective axe,omits of pr~cipa] and interest payable in each of such years shall be the arao~ts so designated in Schedule "A" hereto armex~d, which said sched~.e is hereby declared t,o form part of this By-la~,." 5. The said By-law 2527 is further amended by l~-n,~ber~g the first ~ragraph there~l n~nbered as six as 6 (a) and by re-n~aberin6 t~ second paragraph there~ n~hered as s~ as paragraph 6 (b).
