A BY-LAW CONCERNING THE DESIRABILITY OF A TWELVE INCH (12") WATERMAIN
ON ISLAND ROAD AND A SIX INCA (61t) WATERMAIN ON PART OF RIVERCOURT DRIVE.
IWIEREAS the Municipal Council of The Oorporation of the Township of
Pickering by a two-thirds majority deems it desirable that the construction

of a watermain in the said Township as hereinafter set out be undertaken
as a local improvement under the provisions of Section 8 of The Local
Improvement Act, R. S. 0. 1950 Chapter 215 as amended.
NOW THEREFORE THE MUNICIPAL COUNCIL OF THE CORPORATION OF THE TOWNSHIP
OF PICKERING enacts as follows:
1. That it is desirable that the construction of a twelve inch (121f)
watermain along Island Road from Rouge Hills Drive to Rivercourt Drive
and a six inch (611) watermain from Island Road northerly Six Hundred
and Forty Feet (6401) on Rivercourt Drive at a total estimated cost of
Eleven Thousand One Hundred and Twenty Dollars 011,120.00) with an
estimated lifetime of twenty-one years be undertaken as a local improve-
ment under The Local Improvement Act R. S. 0. 1950 Chapter 215 as amended.
