A BY-LAW OF THE ~NICIPALITY OF THE TOWNSHIP OF PICKEHING TO ASSESS
T~E SEPARATE SCHOOL SUPPORTERS IN THE T0~NSHIP OF PICKEHIN~ TO
PROVIDE FUNDS FOR THE PUHPOSES OF THE ROle~.N CATHOLIC SCHOOLS IN
THE YEAR 1958.
WHEREAS the Separate School Boards in the Municipality of the
Township of Picketing, or areas of other Municipalities which
form Union Separate School Boards, have made requisition to the
Council of the Township of P/ckering for the amounts set out in
Column 3 on Schedule "A" to this By-Law;
BE IT THEHEFORE. ENACTED by the Municipal Council of the Corporation
of the Township of P/ckering:-
1. THAT there be raised, levied and collected from and upon
all rateable property in each of the School Sections of the
Township of Picketing in the year 1958 assessed to Separate
School Supporters, such a rate in each of the School Sections
as will be sufficient to raise the amount entered in Columns 5 and 6
of the said Schedule opposite the number of each such Section
respectively.
2. THAT the amounts set out in Column 6 of the said Schedule
shall be made up of those Catholic School'Supporters whose
lands at the time of issuing certain debentures were taxable
for Public School purposes, and said funds shall be credited
to the debenture payments due in the year 1958.
