A BY-IAW OF TIlE TOWNSBIP OF PICKERING TO TAKE OVER AN ABANDONED CEMETERY
.AS TOWNSHIP PROPERTY.
~IERFA. S the Department of Health have recommended that the Township
take over the abandoned cemetery in the north half of Lot 18,
Concession 2;
BE IT TH.ER~ORE..ENACTED by the Municipal Council of the Township of
Picketing that:
1. The abandoned cemetery on the farm of Mrs. David H. Marshall in
the north half of Lot 18, Concession 2, which abuts the Brock
l~,. Road about 300 feet south of the north limit of her property be
"f a Township Cemetery under the control of the Township of
Picketing Cemetery Board.
2. This By-I~w shall become effective on the date it is approved
by the Department of tlealth.
