A BY-LAW TO PROVIDE FOR THE 19 Dl EXPENDITURES ON ROADS IN THE
TOWNSHIP OF PICKERING IN THE ICOUNTY OF Ontario_
WHEREAS The Highway Improvement Act requires that the total
expenditure on roads be provided for annually by by-law and that the by-
law be submitted to the Minister of Highways for approval.

THEREFORE the Oovu,_Il of the Corporation of the said Township 4
enacts as follows:-
(1) The sum of $ 122,300.00 is hereby appropriated from i
monies provided by levy, 6ebentures an government subsidy for the expendl.-Y
ture upon construction and maintenance of the roads under its jurisdiction
during the year 19 57 as follows:-

(2) The said monies shall be expended under the supervision of
the duly appointed township road superintendent and on work performed in
accordance with The Highway Improvement Act.
(3) The clerk shall tranAmit du licate copies of this by-law to
the district office of the Municipal Roa s Branch, Department of Hi.ghsiay:i,
not later than March 31st of the said year.
