A BY-LAW TO APPOINT THE PLACE AND HOUR FOR RECEIVING NOMINATIONS FOR
THE OFFICES OF REEVE, DEPUTY+?REFVE AND THREE COUNCILLORS FOR THE
MUNICIPALITY OF THE TOWNSHIP OF PICKERING, AND TO RECEIVE NOMINATIONS
FOR3TW0 TRUSTEES FOR SCHOOL AREA NUMBER ONE FOR THE YEAR 1953: TO
APPOINT THE PLACES FOR HOLDING THE ELECTION THEREOF AND PERSONS TO
PRESIDE THEREAT AS DEPUTY RETURNING OFFICERS AND POLL CLERKS.
THE MUNICIPAL COUNCIL OF THE CORPORATION OF THE TOVNSHIP OF PICKERING
ENACTS AS FOLLOWS:
1. THAT the place for receiving nominations for the offices of REEVE,
DEPUTY-REEVE and three COUNCILLORS for the Municipality of the
Township of Pickering, and TRUSTEES for the said School Area for
the year 1953 shall be in the TOWNSHIP HALL, at the Village of
0,,,,Brougham, and that the hour during which such nominations may be
received shall commence at ONE O'CLOCK (Standard Time) in the
afternoon of the Twenty-First day of November, 1952, and not at
the hour of noon on that day.
The places for holding the poll for the election to the said offices
for the said year, and taking the votes of the electors of the said
Municipality for the said year 1953, shall be as follows, that is to
say:
