A BY-LAW TO LEVY A SPECIAL RATE ON THE TAXABLE PROPERTY I`T THE
POLICE VILLAGE OF PICRERING, TO DEFRAY THE COST OF STREET LI>HTS
AND OTHER SPECIAL PURPOSES IN THE SAID VILLAGE, IN THE YEAR 1952.
/f,b71 WHEREAS the Trustees of the Police Villa?±e of Pickering have
made request for the levy of a special rate of TWO MILLS on the
Dollar upon all the rateable property in the said Village to
defra° the cost of maintaining; street lights and meet the cost
of other sundrv Village requirements during the year 1952.
AND WHEREAS the total taxable property in the said Police Villeoe
is the sum of 158855.08;
BE IT THEREFORE ENACTED BY THE',17TNICIPAL COUNCIL OF THE TOWNSHIP
OF PICFrRING:
THAT there be raised, levied and collected from and upon all
rateable property in the Police Village of PickerinC, in the year
1951, the rate or sum of TWO MILLS on the Dollar, amounting to
the sum of 1-1,,..177--71 for the aforesaid purposes of the said
Police Village of PickerinT,,, in the said Year.
