A By-law to authorize proceedings to be taken to construct water-
mains in the Police Village of Pickering.
•T_ WHEREAS this Council has determined that it is desirable that the
construction of the work hereinafter described should be undertaken
as a local improvement without petition:
THEREFORE the Council of THE CORPORATION OF THE TOWNSHIP OF PICKERING,
by a vote of two-thirds of all Members thereof, ENACTS as follows:-
7 jr. 1. That it is hereby declared that it is desirable that the
construction of feeder and distribution mains of the size
and in the streets mentioned in Schedule "A" to this By-law
(which is hereby declared to be and form part of this by-law)
should be undertaken as a local improvement under the provisions
of The Local Improvement Act.
2. That Messrs. Gore & Storrie be the Engineers for the work
and do perform all duties which under the said Act are to
be or may be performed by the Engineers.
3. That notice of this Council's intention to undertake the
said work be published as required by the said Act.
PASSED at a meeting of the whole Council this ............. ..
day of March, 1950, by a vote of two-thirds of all the Members
of the Council.
