A BY-LAW TO ESTABLISH A ROAD THROUGH PARTS OF LOTS NO. 18 and 17 IN
THE NINTH CONCESSION OF THE TOWNSHIP OF PICKERING.
DE IT E~ACTM~ by the Council of the Corporation of Picketing and it
is hereby enacted by the authority of the same that the road surveyed
and laid out by John Shier, Provincial Land Surveyor, across parts o£
Lots No. 18 and 17 in the Ninth Concession of Picketing as appears by
his report dated July 26th 1860 which site of a road may be more
definitely described as follows, that is to say:
Commencing on the westerly limit of said Lot No. 18 at the distance of
25 chains and 37 links from the south west angle of the said LOt and
running thence north 4 degrees and 20 minutes east thirty one chains
66 links thence north 7 degrees 25 minutes east 49 chains more or less
to the allowance for road between PickerinK and Uxbridge in the rear
of the said lot No. 17 the said road to be 50 feet wide and the above
described line to be the eastern limit thereof;that the above described
road be and the same is hereby established as a Public Road or highway.
