A BY-LAW TO ASSUME CERTAIN ROADS IN THE TOWNSHIP OF PICKERING.
WHEREAS Rouge Hills Limited has subdivided certain portions of lots numbers
31, 32, 33 and 34 in the Broken Front Concession of the Township of Pickering,
according to several plans registered in the Registry Office for the
Registry Division of the County of Ontario - as Numbers 274, 276, 2830 2842
319, and 320 respectively;
AND WHERE Rouge Hills Limited has done certain work on the roads shown on
the said plans and has requested the Corporation of the Township of
Pickering to assume certain portions of the said roads as public highways
and township roads;
AND WHEREAS the Council of the said Corporation deem it in the public
interest to comply with such request;
NOW THEREFORE the Council the the Corporation of the Township of Pickering
ENACTS AS FOLLOWS:
THAT the Corporation of the Township of Pickering do and it does hereby take
over and assume - as Public Highways - and Township Roads - all the
following portions of roads in the subdivision of parts of Township Lots
Numbers 31, 32, 33, and 34 in the Broken Front Concession of the said
Township of Pickering known as Rouge Hills (all of which roads are shown
on the aforesaid registered plans numbers 274, 2760 2830 2842 319, and
320,) as follows, that is to say:
(1) That portion of Ridgewood Road which extends from the westerly limit
of Township Lot Number 34 in said Broken Front Concession in a South-
Easterly and then easterly and slightly northerly direction to its
point of intersection with the road known as Rouge Hills Drive.
(2) Those portions of Rouge Hills Drive as are shown on the aforesaid
Plans Numbers 284 and 320',
(3) That portion of Island Road which extends from Rouge Hills Drive to
Rivercourt Drive.
(4) That portion of Rivercourt Drive which extends from Island Drive to
the southerly limit of Subdivision Lot Number 33, according to said
Plan 276.
(5) That portion of West Point Crescent which extends from Rouge Hills
Drive to the easterly limit of Subdivision Lot Number 57p according
to the aforesaid Plan 284.
(6) That portion of Pine Ridge Road which extends from Morgan Road to
West Point Crescent, according to the aforesaid Plan 283.
(7) That portion of West Point Crescent which extends from Pine Ridge
Road to Dyson Road according to Plan 283 aforesaid
(8) That portion of Dyson Road which extends from West Point Crescent
to the northerly limit of Subdivision Lot Number 172 according to
the aforesaid Plan 274.

West Point Crescent, according to the aforesaid Plan 283.
(7) That portion of West Point Crescent which extends from Pine Ridge
Road to Dyson Road according to Plan 283 aforesaid
(8) That portion of Dyson Road which extends from West Point Crescent
to the northerly limit of Subdivision Lot Number 17, according to
the aforesaid Plan 274.
