By-Law Vo. 1243 - 2. - Tl[AT upon receipt of the aforesaid prices respectively, the Move and Clerk are authorized_ and directed, for and on behalf of the said Corporation, to convey by good and srfficient deeds, to the aforesaid owners the portions of the said orininal allowance for road botween ],ots Niunbers 34 and 35 in the Fourth Concession of the said Township of Pickering which have been stopped up as a public highway, and to such deeds of conveyance to affix the Seal of the sail Corporation. Beaton" Clerk B Y- A W N U M B R R 1 2 4 3 BY-LAW TO AUTHORIZE THE CONVEYANCE OF THE ORIGINAL ALLOWANCE FOR ROAD BETWEEN TATS NUMBERS 38 AND 33 IN TUB SECOND RANGE OF THE BROKEN FRONT CONCESSION OF THE TOWNSHIP OF PICKERING, AND OF THE ORIGINAL ALLOWANCE FOR ROAD BETWEEN LOTS NUMBERS 34 AND 35 IN THE FOURTH CONCESSION OF THE SAME TOWNSHIP, EXCEPTING THE NORTHERLY 80 RODS THEREOF, TO OWNERS OF ADJACENT LANDS* WHAAW by By-Law Number 1152 of the Corporation of the Township of Pickering the above described allowance and part of allowance for road, were, with certain other allowance for road, stopped up and closed as public highways and their sale authorised; AND WHEREAS the said By-Law has been duly confirmed and approved by the County Council of the County of Ontario and by the Lieutenant Governor in Council; AND WHEREAS the said original allowance for road between Lots Numbers 32 and 33 in the Second Range of the Broken Front Concession was duly tendered for sale to Cecil White, owner of the adjacent lands at the price or sum of 3500900 and such tender accepted by his; AND WHEREAS the said Cecil White recently paid the said purchase money and a conveyance of the said parcel was made to his assignee Mrs. Janet Rao Rade, which conveyance it is expedient that the Council should now confirm and approve; AND WI the aforesaid portion of the original allowance for road be M to Numbers 34 and 35 in the Fourth Concession of the said Town- ship was tendered and sold to the owners of the adjacent lands at the prices noted below„ that is to says (1) The South East quarter of said allowance for road, 2} acres, at the pries of 348988 to Thomas foesor; (2) The South West quarter of said allowance, 21 acres, at the price of $48.88 to John S. Beare; (3) The North Bast quarter of said allowance, excepting the northerly 80 rods thereof, containing 1} acres, to Robert P. Nowlan, at the pries of 328.12; (4) The North West quarter of the said allo nos, excepting the northerly 80 rods thereof, containing It &orss, to James Todd, at the price of 928.12; $ the said James.Todd having sold and conveyed the lands which he id own on said Lot 35, being the north half thereof, to one John Evert Anthony, has transferred his interest in the said North foot quarter of said allowance for road, to the latter; AND wHERBAB the aforesaid owners of lands adjacent to said allowance for road between lots 34 and 35 are in possession of the aforesaid parts thereof respectively, and conveyance of the same to then has been delayed until now awaiting confirmation of the aforesaid By-law by the Lieutenant Governor in Council; BE IT ZaMWCRE ENS by the Munioipal Council of the Corporation of the Township of o kerings 1. VAT the conveyance recently made of the said original allowance for road between late Numbers 34 and 35 in the Second Range of the Broken Front Concession of the Township of Pickering to Mrs, Janet Rao Conner, Assignee of the aforesaid Cecil White, b the &4va and Clerk under the Seal of the Corporation, for and on behalf of the Corporation of the said Township, be and the memo is hereby confirmed and approved, and the Reeve and Clork, for and on behalf of the said Corporation, hereby authorised and empowered to make and execute such further assurances of the said land as may be requisite.
