WHEREAS a number of the ratepayers of the Township of
Municipality has not hitherto entered into a contract
under Part One of "Tire Power Commission Act", have ap
poration, requesting it to obtain from the Commission

AND WHEREAS the said Commission has furnished to the Corporation the

Section 27 of the said Act;
A%'D WHEREAS at the present meeting of the Council the council has con-
sidered the statement and estimates furnished by the Commission, and with
the consent of the applicants, who have already entered into contracts
for the supply of electric power or energy by the Commission, it has
been deemed advisable to pass a by-law to authorize the entering into
of a contract with the Commission for the purpose aforesa=i i.

THAT an agreement, in the terms contained in the draft agreement now
suhmitteJ and read to the Council, between the hydro Electric Power
Commission of Ontario anal the Puni.ci.pal Corporation of the Township
of Picherin, , is hereby approved ani authorized to be entered into by
the said Corporation, ami the Reeve and Clerk are hereby authorizes to
execute the same in the name and on behalf of the Corporation any? to affix
thereto the corporate Seal.

NOW ZUMWORR the Municipal Council of the Corporation of the Township
of Pickering ENACTS AS FOLIAWS, THAT IS TO SAYt
THAT an agreement, in the terms contained in the draft agreement now
submitted and mad to the Council, between the Hydro Electric Power
Commission of Ontario and the Municipal Corporation of the Township
of Pickering, is hereby approved and authorized to be entered into by
the said Corporation, and the Reeve and Clerk are hereby authorized to
execute the same in the name and on behalf of the Corporation and to affix
thereto the Corporate Seal.
