BY-LAW NUMBER 71
Eeing a By-law to appoint a Lottery
Licencing Officer
WHEREAS The Municipal Act provides that the
Councils of all municipalities may pass by-laws for
appointing such Officers and servants as may be necessary
for the purpose of the Corporation;
AND WHEREAS it is deemed expedient to appoint
a Lottery Licencing Officer;
NOW THEREFORE the Municipal Council of the
Corporation of the Township of Pickering ENACTS AS
FOLLOWS:
1. THAT Douglas J. Plitz is hereby appointed
Lottery Licencing Officer for the Corporation
of the Township of Pickering.
2. THAT the said Douglas J. Plitz shall hold
office during the pleasure of the Council
and shall exercise all the authority, powers
and rights and shall perform all the duties
and obligations which by Statute or by-laws
are or may be conferred or imposed upon the
Lottery Licencing Officer and any other duties
that may be imposed by Council.
By-Law #3842/70 be and the same is hereby repealed.
By-law read a first, second and third time and PASSED in
open Council this ?C day of £? 1971.
