BY-LAW NUMBER
A By-law of the Corporation of
the Township of Pickering to appoint a
Township Manager (Acting)
WHEREAS The Municipal Act, R.S.O. 1970, C.284
Section 352, Sub-Section 63 authorizes the appointment
of certain officers for the purpose of the
Corporation;
AND WHEREAS By-law Number 4178/72 established the
position of Township Manager and authorized the
appointing of a person to the position.
BE IT THEREFORE ENACTED by the Municipal Council of
the Township of Pickering that:
1. Clarence E. Ettinger be and he is hereby
appointed Acting Township Manager for the
Township of Pickering and shall commence
his duties as of August 8th, 1973.
2. The duties of the said Acting Township
Manager shall be those as defined in
By-law 4178/72.
By-law read a first, second and third time and PASSED
in open Council this day of
1973.
