BY-LAW NUMBER 3 S` 7S
Being a by-law to provide for the
severance and reconveyance of certain
Township lands located in Lots 25
and 26, Range 3, Broken Front
Concession, of the Township of
Pickering.
WHEREAS the Corporation of the Township of Pickering is the
owner in fee simple of certain lands and premises located in
Lots 25 and 26, Range 3, Broken Front Concession, in the
Township of Pickering,
AND WHEREAS part of the said lands, shown as Part A on the
attached map which is hereto annexed as Schedule "A", is
presently occupied by the Township of Pickering Police
Department;
AND WHEREAS the remaining lands owned by the Township are
presently unoccupied;
AND WHEREAS the Council of the Township of Pickering deems it
desirable that said Part A be severed from the remaining land
owned by the Township of Pickering;
NOW THEREFORE BE IT AND IT IS HEREBY ENACTED-
1. That the Township Solicitor be authorized to prepare
the necessary deed in order to sever the said land and
obtain the registration of same in order to place the
land under a separate deed, and to have the legal plan
of survey prepared;
2. That the Reeve and the Acting Clerk of the Township of
Pickering be and are hereby authorized and instructed to
execute, on behalf of the Corporation of the Township of
Pickering the said deed for the purpose of carrying out
the said severance and reconveyance and to affix thereto
the Corporate Seal of the Corporation.
Read a First, Second and Third Time and PASSED in open Council
