being a by-law to authorize
the construction of watermains
on certain streets and roads
as more particularly herein-
after set out pursuant to the
provisions of Section 354(1) 53
of the Municipal Act, R.S.O.
1970 with rates to be imposed
under Section 362 of the Municipal
Act R.S.O. 1970
WHEREAS The Council of the Corporation of the Town-
ship of Pickering deems it in the public interest to construct
certain watermains in certain streets and roads as hereinafter
set out.
NOW THEREFORE the Council of the Corporation of the
Township of Pickering enacts as follows:
1. That the construction of watermains be proceeded with
in the following streets and roads:
In Pickering Beach Road from the existing W. main of the Town
of Ajax to a point 2141 north of Beach-
view Street (being the north limit of
Registered Plan 392).
In Beachview Street from Pickering Beach Road to the east
limit of Beachview Street (east limit
of Registered Plan 392).
In Poplar Avenue from Lakeview Street to Beachview Street.
In Seabreeze Road from Poplar Avenue to the east limit
of Seabreeze Road (east limit of Regis-
tered Plan 372).
In Range Line Road from Pickering Beach to Shoal Point Road.
In Lakeview Street from Pickering Beach Road to Shoal Point
Road.
In Shoal Point Road from Lakeview Street to Range Line Road.
In Maple Road from Lakeview Street to Range Line Road.
In Ruthel Road from Range Line Road to Seabreeze Road.
In Ebony Street
from Poplar Avenue to Maple Road.
In Lakecrest Drive from Lakeview Street to 350' east
of Lakeview Street (east limit of
Lot 20, Registered Plan 380).

In Lakecrest. Drive from Lakeview StreetAwest limit of
Lot 16, Registered Plan 380).
2. The total estimated cost of the works is $212,000.00
which is to be paid for by the imposition of a water works rate
against the property benefitting from the works. The lands for
which the owners are made liable for the water works..rate is the
defined area as set out in Schedule 'A' hereto.
3. The said cost of the works shall be financed by the
issuing of debentures bearing interest at 8-1/2% per annum, and
having a term of twenty years, and any debenture charges shall
form part of the total cost of the works to be assessed against
the said defined area.
4. The said water works rate to be imposed on the owners
of the lands in the said defined area shall be on the basis of
an equal annual rate per foot according to frontages for water-
mains which is estimated to be the sum of $1.36 per foot.

view Street on both sides between Pickering
Beach Road and the east limit of Reg'd Plan
392, Poplar Avenue on both sides between Lake-
view Street and Beachview Street, Seabreeze
Street on both sides between Poplar Avenue and
the east limit of Reg'd Plan 372, Range Line
Road on both sides between Pickering Beach Road
and Shoal Point Road, Lakeview Street on both
sides between Pickering Beach Road and Shoal
Point Road, Shoal Point Road on both sides
between Lakeview Street and Range Line Road,
